Answers to commonly asked questions.

Mail-Lock™

With Mail-Lock™ you determine who can print, forward and read privileged E-mail communications and attachments. You also determine how long the E-mail and attachments are available for review by the recipient.

Mail-Lock™ gives the Outlook/Exchange E-mail user all of these features and functions.

A simple client-based installation gives you all the power you will need.

Easy to Install

Mail-Lock™ is installed on the client in a very simple, one step process. It literally takes 5 minutes to be up and running. If you can run Microsoft Office, Mail-Lock™ will run.

Easy to Use

Mail-Lock™ employs pop-up menus and on-screen radio button wizards to accomplish all Mail-Lock™ functions. If you can use your E-mail system, you can use Mail-Lock™. You simply install the creator/encryptor module on your workstation/PC. You then create your e-mail and then click on the Mail-Lock™ icon at the top of you Outlook menu screen. You select your policies and then click send as you would normally do. The recipient downloads the Mail-Lock™ Reader, a one-time process, and then opens the E-mail that you sent (See Figure 4).

Policy Driven

Mail-Lock™ employs policies you establish for each E-mail you want to be protected. These policies (See Figure 1) include read, copy, print or forwarding protection for the E-mail and the attachment as well as a time stamp for how long the E-mail will exist.
