Mr. Marc Shinbrood
President and Chief Executive Officer
Treasure Coast Software, Inc.
As the President and CEO of Treasure Coast Software,
Inc., Marc Shinbrood brings over 30 years of high-tech executive management
expertise, specializing
in inter-company relationships and mergers and acquisitions. As Treasure
Coast Software’s CEO, Mr. Shinbrood oversees company vision, product
and business development, customer and reseller relations, and marketing.
Before
founding Treasure Coast Software in 2003, Shinbrood was the executive
vice president at WQuinn Associates, Inc. In this role, Mr. Shinbrood repositioned
the vendor of storage resource management products and attracted the company’s
acquisition by Precise Software Solutions (now Veritas NASDAQ: VRTS) for $42
million, almost 5 times the company’s trailing revenues.
Prior to WQuinn,
Mr. Shinbrood was the senior vice president of AXENT Technologies, Inc.,
which was acquired by Symantec Corporation, a provider of enterprise
class information security software to Fortune 1,000 companies. While at
AXENT, Shinbrood established significant partnerships with corporate vendors
such
as Hewlett-Packard, Microsoft and Compaq. He also played an active role in
merger and acquisition activities at AXENT.
Earlier, Mr. Shinbrood was the
vice president of marketing and business development for Nat Systems International,
Inc., a leading provider of enterprise class,
3-tier client/server application development tools for Fortune 1,000 organizations.
Shinbrood also established significant business partnerships including relationships
with Hewlett-Packard, Sun Microsystems and Tivoli/IBM.
Mr. Shinbrood has also
served as a principal in merger and acquisition transactions with Sterling
Software, Business Software Technologies, Inc, Walker Interactive
Systems, Infotronix, Inc., Attachmate, DCA, Techgnosis, Inc. and Intersolv.
Earlier
in his career, Mr. Shinbrood was the president of TechGnosis International,
the president and CEO of ShowCase Corporation, the president and general
manager of Global Software, the founder of Business Software Technology, Inc.
(now
part of Computer Associates) and the vice president of Cullinet Software.
Mr.
Shinbrood is a graduate of Purdue University’s first Computer Science
program.
