How Mail-Lock Work
A Mail-Lock e-mail creator or reader is installed
in a matter of five minutes. If the e-mail user can run Microsoft Office
2000, at least SR1 or higher, then
he or she can use Mail-Lock. The product uses pop-up menus and on-screen
radio button wizards to accomplish its functionality. A user simply installs
the
creator module on the workstation, creates the sensitive e-mail with attachment,
if appropriate, and selects the Send with Mail-Lock icon on the Microsoft
Outlook menu. The Mail-Lock user then selects the desired e-mail policies and
clicks
send. The e-mail recipient downloads the Mail-Lock Reader, a quick one-time
process, and then opens the sent e-mail with the sender’s controls
intact.
